Danone

Nutrition, food safety and the environment are just some of the areas that have played an important role in reaffirming the Danone commitment to “providing health through food”. Since 2008, we have played an important role in helping this progressive and dynamic global brand reach their goals in the challenging domain of advocacy communication.

The Danone way

We have helped the Paris-based Danone Group fulfil their social and environmental policy of "Providing health through food” via confident and upbeat governmental lobbying. True to the Danone brand, ‘La lettre’ is a refreshingly different and colourful approach to advocacy communication. Circulated quarterly to the French government, MEPs, and other key decision-makers, its success has recently demanded an increased distribution to all ambassadors of France on missions abroad. An English language version is now also produced.

Extending the culture

Firmly believing that a company’s responsibility should not end at the office door or the factory gate, the Ecosystem Fund continues Danone’s pioneering approach to training, industrial relations and profit-sharing; opening up new ways of looking at the company’s role in the economy and civil society. We helped Danone launch this important industry initiative through effective and inspiring advocacy communication.

Continued responsibility

The 2009 Sustainability Report provides an in-depth analysis of Danone Group’s commitment to their Corporate Social Responsibility programmes. We transformed a document that had historically been intensive and content-heavy into a colourful, upbeat and user-friendly interactive pdf. Comprising 266 pages, and produced in 2 languages, the report addresses key issues ranging from responsible consumer advertising to health and nutrition related societal challenges.

Our collaboration was awarded the prix de l’ordre des Experts Comptables for "Best Sustainable Development Report".
